2008 Gopher/Warrior Bowl
October 31
Even though our games are over, you won't want to miss the big event at the Gopher/Warrior Bowl. November 8th, is an all day event full of cheer competitions and football. Tickets are $3.00 at the gate.
At the end of the night will be the trophy presentation for football and cheer. All the kids on the team will recieve a trophy and t-shirt.
Tickets are not required for entry if you come during or after halftime of the last football game (which starts at 6:00 p.m.). Trophy presentations will be after the final game.
League Party!
October 22
There is going to be a league party for the kids on November 9th at the "Main Event" in Grapevine from 5:00 to 9:30. Kids MUST wear their GPYFA t-shirts in order to get in. These are the t-shirt they'll recieve at the Gopher Bowl, NOT their Seahawks t-shirts or jerseys.
Kids with GPYFA t-shirts get in free while additional people (and parents) are $9.50 a piece.
Team Pictures
UPDATE
September 28
We're planning on taking team pictures on Thursday, October 2nd during practice. We'll be starting at the beginning of practice so please try to be there at 6:30.
If we cannot get all the individual photos shot before we lose the light we'll finish up the pictures on Tuesday, October 9th. Danielle is taking the photos and I'll post details on the gallery page of the site.
Homecoming 2.0
September 28
We've rescheduled our homecoming for the October 4th game against the Panthers. It's a 9:00 game hopefully without any hurricanes this time. To make an adjustment for this we'll be swapping sides with the Panthers so that we are home.
Seahawks Win!!!
August 30
Everyone did an outstanding job playing the Colts. All that teamwork and effort payed off with our first win! Let's see if we can't practice good this week and have back to back wins next Saturday against the Panthers.
Uniforms Available Saturday Morning

I talked with the person in charge of screen printing the uniforms and he says they will be ready before the game Saturday morning.
However, just in case, please wear a white t-shirt and black shorts to the game.
Practice Thursday
Bumped 1/2 Hour
August 18
Due to the fact that Thursday is "Meet the Parents" night at Dickenson Elementary and possibly other local schools we're bumping practice back half an hour and starting at 7:00 p.m.
This is of course, assuming it's not still raining...
We're Set!
August 16
There were no problems at weigh-in and we even managed to track down Adiel's paperwork that had been shifted over to the Jets.
So it looks like we're all set for our first game next Saturday!

Weigh-In Day
Official weigh-in day and time is August 16th at 8:45 a.m. PARENTS AND KIDS DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND! It seems coach flys solo on this one.
